Echo Student Ministry

"For the stone will cry out of the wall, and the beam out of the woodwork will answer it." - Habbakuk 2:11

ECHO Student Ministries is a place for youth in grades 6-12 to come and learn how to do life together in a safe space where being original is welcomed and encouraged.  We make sure that the kids are growing in their faith and learning how to walk through one of the most challenging parts of life with mentors and support.

Guiding Principles for Growth

Sunday School Sessions

Teens have some of the hardest years in their lives.  We spend Sunday mornings sharing moments of joy and excitement through their successes and help them through challenges by providing support and encouragement.  Our Bible lessons often bring the old and New Testament into our current situations and provide the roadmap they need to make it through middle school and high school.

Sunday Evening Family Dinner

We provide a one hour lesson to kids in grades 6-12 from Intro to the Bible, to understanding the 10 commandments, learning the meaning of the Lord's Prayer and the Apostles Creed and then how to be proud of your faith when questioned about it.  After our educational hour, we enjoy a family meal before diving into a Hot Topic and activities that set the kids up for a great week at their schools

Built on Community

Serving kids in the Memphis area, we have a large group of kids in grades 6-12 at over 10 different schools.  We help build lifelong friendships that allow them to be whoever they want to be in a safe space.

Life's more fun when you walk in comfortable shoes

Junior Youth

Grades 6-8

Our Junior Youth meet Sunday mornings from 9:45a - 10:45a and Sunday evenings from 6p - 7:30p.  They cover areas that help guide them through seasonal friendships, school challenges, teams/clubs, and how Jesus is their strength through each new day

Senior Youth

Grades 9-12

Preparing our high school youth members for some of the more intense, pressure driven parts of growing up.  Building up their confidence to make smart choices with their families, their friends, and their extra-curricular activities while showing up at random times with a supportive group of fiends

Smiles everywhere

College Ministry

After high school, our leaders have the hardest job of this program.  Staying connected to all of the kids that venture out into the world.  Some go far and some we will continue to see every week. We work in small groups during breaks and spontaneous events as our college kids return home to reconnect.
